Frequently asked

Questions before youget started.

A few of the questions construction teams usually ask before bringing their project workflows into Buildiante.

Still have a question?

Our team can walk you through the product and how it fits your current workflow.

What does Buildiante actually cover?
The core loop is seven modules: Quantity Takeoff (PDF and BIM), BOQ / Cost Estimation, Project Scheduling, Tendering & Subcontractor Bid Management, Procurement, Field Ops (Daily Diary, HSE incidents, Punch List), and Project Controls (RFI, Variations, Quality/NCR) for tracking changes and disputes. That's what this site is built to walk you through — talk to us if you want the full picture of what else is in the product.
Will my field crew actually use this, or is it too complicated?
The daily diary, incident, and punch-list forms ask for the same information your team already writes on paper or types into a group chat, just as fields instead of a blank note. Nobody logging a day from the field needs to know what a BOQ or a takeoff is.
What happens when there's a disagreement about a change?
Variations and RFIs are logged with a name, a timestamp, and a status — draft through approved or rejected, or asked through answered — and every transition writes to a tenant-wide audit log. If someone claims they were never told about a change, the record either backs that up or it doesn't.
Is my company's data isolated from other tenants?
Yes. Every record is scoped to your organization at the database level with Postgres row-level security, enforced independently of the application code as a second layer.
Can subcontractors submit bids without a full account?
Yes. Subcontractors get a scoped, expiring link tied to a single bid package — no login required — and submit priced responses directly against that package.
What does a BOQ approval actually lock in?
Approving a BOQ stamps who approved it and when, and moving it to locked makes sections, positions, and markups read-only. Every status change is written to an audit log with the before/after values.
Is pricing final?
Not yet — the tiers on our pricing page are illustrative while we finish Phase 1 with pilot contractors. Talk to us if you want early access ahead of general pricing.
